Massachusetts General Hospital MICU project

MGH medical ICU nurse Kelly Perfetti put me down to organize the artist side of this project, which brought me, Alex Lukas, Ryan Shea-Pare, Brian Willmont, and Justin B. Williams in to paint the drop-down ceiling tiles over patient beds. It was a challenge, since these patients are all in very tough shape, and 25% do not leave the ICU. It was an amazing experience, and I hope to have the opportunity to do something similar another time.

Dreamland Artist Club

2005 jammy at the Spider ride on Coney Island. Steve Powers waved me in at the last second to this project, which broke my life-long boycott of painting in New York City. Coney is a living Tom Waits song.
